The photographs below are taken from 'Other Histories', the body of work made by Christopher King during his time at the Tower of London. They are a very personal response that show us places in the Tower that are unfamiliar, overlooked or seemingly unimportant, but that hint at the layers of history that exist within such a historic location. Places, as Chris puts it: 'where the layers of official historic interpretation were at their thinnest or totally absent and where other, quieter stories could be found'.
