The Official Website for the Tower of London Artist in Residence Project 2008/090000

Near the end of Christopher King's residency he worked with a group of young people from the Downside Fisher Youth Club in Southwark. After learning about the visual language of portraits from paintings of Henry VIII to photographs of Marilyn Monroe the young people worked with Chris to create their own portraits that say something about who they are and how they want to be seen, all this against the luxurious backdrop of the Tower of London's Medieval Palace.
