The Official Website for the Tower of London Artist in Residence Project 2008/090000

Teachers and Year 4 children from Eveline Lowe School in Southwark spent a day at the Tower of London exploring the historic site accompanied by one of the Tower's costumed interpreters who shared with them tales and stories from the history of this famous place. The children then worked with Christopher King and the Tower's Education Department to decide on what scenes, objects and scenarios would work well as a stained glass window for each of the historic stories. Christopher King and Zinta Jaunitis used the children's thoughts and ideas to create six colourful lightbox 'windows' that will be used to brighten up one of the Tower of London's education areas.
